As of August 2025, piling and pier construction activities are in full swing across various stretches. KMRL aims to complete the project by 2027. The tenders for civil works were awarded in early 2024, and groundwork started soon after. Land acquisition along the proposed route has reached 95% completion, ensuring minimal delays in execution.
